Some causes of odor in the mouth

Brush teeth already, drinking mouthwash, and eating candy mint also. All recommendations from the dentist has done, but why is your mouth still smells? There are several causes of bad breath that you should know even feel his mouth is clean.Quoted from Mamasource, Friday (4/9/2009), there are 7 causes of mouth still smells even after a toothbrush.

1. There are still food particles stuck in the mouth That is the need to brush your teeth properly, as there are few food scraps left behind can still make bad breath. Those who wear dentures are more likely to have bad breath due to growth of bacteria from food scraps.

2. Bacteria are still stuck on the tongue People are usually diligent toothbrush but forgot to clean the tongue. In fact, bacteria on the tongue can accumulate and grow as well. Get used to clean the tongue when the color has begun to change, because it is a sign of bacteria in the mouth.
3. Saliva in the mouth less In the mouth there is saliva, and without adequate saliva production, the mouth will become smelly. Alcohol, caffeine, dehydration or side effects of drugs can cause reduced saliva and the mouth becomes dry.
Drink lots of water or chew gum to trigger the production of saliva. Avoid using mouthwash that contains alcohol because it will only add to the problem.
4. Less consumption of carbohydrates When the body gets less carbohydrate intake, combustion in the body to produce energy is replaced by a reserve of fat called ketosis. As a result, the body will take more water than other body parts, including saliva, and it causes a dry mouth and smell.
5. Medical Conditions Diseases such as tooth decay, infection respiratory, digestive or hormonal disease can cause bacteria to grow more in the mouth. Consult with an expert to solve the odor.
6. You are stressed Stress is usually associated with digestive problems and can interfere with oral hygienic and surrounding nerves. Practice taking a deep breath, walk pets or follow along with yoga classes to eliminate them.
7. You are a smoker Tar, nicotine and content in cigarettes can make your breath is not fresh. When you smoke, the moisture in the mouth would be reduced and that is the initial symptom of bad breath. As long as you still have the habit of smoking, even at risk of mouth odor.
Try drinking cider (juice), apples, or use baking soda and salt water to cope with the smell of the mouth.
